Marketing and HR Administrator - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Blandy & Blandy LLP is one of the leading law firms in the Thames Valley providing a wide range of legal services for both commercial organisations and private individuals.
We now require an administrator to assist the Marketing Manager and the part-time HR Manager in all areas of their work. Core duties and responsibilities include:
Marketing
- Maintaining the Lawsoft database - adding, amending and deleting entries
- Maintaining the Client Satisfaction Survey database
- Production of ‘Guides’ - ensuring they are up-to-date and fully stocked in each department and client areas.
- Maintaining press library and press cuttings
- Assisting with targeted mailings including Blandy’s ebulletin series.
- Competitor monitoring (on the web and in local papers)
- Rolling out the firm’s event programme
- Organise the re-printing of marketing materials and other collateral
- Updating the intranet and website
- Assist with updating the Legal Directory entries
- General assistance to the Marketing Manager on a day to day basis.
Human Resources
- Responding to all trainee applicants in a timely manner (within a week)
- Responding to all speculative applicants in a timely manner (within a week)
- Updating all applicant records in database
- Assisting with organisation of Trainee Assessment Day
- Ensuring absence records are accurate and follow-up action taken where required
- Help cover Reception when short staffed
- Assist the HR Manager as and when necessary.

Experience of working within a professional services firm is desirable.
