Marketing and HR Administrator - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Blandy & Blandy LLP is one of the leading law firms in the Thames Valley providing a wide range of legal services for both commercial organisations and private individuals. 

We now require an administrator to assist the Marketing Manager and the part-time HR Manager in all areas of their work.  Core duties and responsibilities include:

Marketing

  • Maintaining the Lawsoft database - adding, amending and deleting entries
  • Maintaining the Client Satisfaction Survey database
  • Production of ‘Guides’ - ensuring they are up-to-date and fully stocked in each department and client areas.
  • Maintaining press library and press cuttings
  • Assisting with targeted mailings including Blandy’s ebulletin series.
  • Competitor monitoring (on the web and in local papers)
  • Rolling out the firm’s event programme
  • Organise the re-printing of marketing materials and other collateral
  • Updating the intranet and website
  • Assist with updating the Legal Directory entries
  • General assistance to the Marketing Manager on a day to day basis.

Human Resources

  • Responding to all trainee applicants in a timely manner (within a week)
  • Responding to all speculative applicants in a timely manner (within a week)
  • Updating all applicant records in database
  • Assisting with organisation of Trainee Assessment Day
  • Ensuring absence records are accurate and follow-up action taken where required
  • Help cover Reception when short staffed
  • Assist the HR Manager as and when necessary.
