Collaborative Law

Collaborative Law is a new way of resolving family disputes by avoiding the need to go to court and attempting to establish good will amongst all parties. The process works by putting the couples in charge of the process with their solicitor orchestrating 4 way face to face meetings where all parties are committed to resolving issues without going to court. These methods hope to limit confrontation and help couples reach a satisfactory resolution.

Our team

Our Family Law team is widely recognised as the leading Family Law practise in the Thames Valley and one of the top practises in southern England.

A number of the team are trained in collaborative law techniques and we were among the first in the country to embrace this new way of resolving matrimonial disputes.

Each of our members belongs to Resolution, (formerly known as the SFLA), which encourages agreement rather than unnecessary confrontation.

The Legal 500 directory of UK law firms consistently lists the Head of Department, Andrew Don, as one of the leading practitioners in the country, praising his ‘positive, sensible and settlement orientated approach’.
