How do we charge?

Remortgage (freehold)

Property value: upto £500,000
Fee estimate: upto £800 + VAT *

Disbursements 
These are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process. Disbursements may be payable on a remortgage, for example:

  • Land Registry search fee: £3.00 + VAT *
  • Land Registry fee: Dependant on the amount you are borrowing. e.g. from £20.00 for loans under £100,000.00.
  • Searches: £300 + VAT * or insurance
  • Bankruptcy searches: £2.00 (per name) + VAT *
  • Land Registry official copy fees: £15 + VAT *

Remortgage (leasehold)

Property value: upto £500,000
Fee estimate: upto £950 + VAT *

Disbursements 

These are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process. Disbursements may be payable on a remortgage, for example:

  • Land Registry search fee: £3.00 + VAT *
  • Land Registry fee: Dependant on the amount you are borrowing. e.g. from £20.00 for loans under £100,000.00.
  • Searches: £300 + VAT * or insurance
  • Bankruptcy searches: £2.00 (per name) + VAT *
  • Land Registry official copy fees: £15.00 + VAT *
  • Notice fees: As per your lease

How long will my matter take?

The average timescale for remortgages is approximately 4 – 6  weeks.  We must stress that this is an average and it is dependent upon a number of factors such as the length of time it may take to obtain title deeds from any existing lenders, the processing of new mortgage applications and the issue of offers etc.
