Blandy & Blandy LLP Represented at Charity Symposium

Blandy & Blandy LLP was represented at this year’s Berkshire Community Foundation Charity Symposium, held at Green Park Conference Centre on 22 September.

Partner Nick Burrows, head of the firm’s Charities team, gave an update on data protection law, including an overview of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into force in May 2018.

Fellow speakers included Detective Chief Inspector Darran Hill of Thames Valley Police on cybercrime and the Capability Company’s Karen Morton on public service commissioning. The Symposium was introduced by Lady Catherine Stevenson.

100% of those who attended described the event as ‘good’ or ‘excellent’.

Nick said: “As always, Blandy & Blandy is delighted to support the Berkshire Community Foundation and to be one of the sponsors of its annual Symposium. Thank you for inviting us to speak and to everyone who attended and participated in a very useful event.”
