David Lamont leads Blandy & Blandy's marketing and business development function.
A general marketer, David's particular areas of interest include marketing strategy, digital marketing and engagement, internal communications, brand and reputation.
David joined the firm in 2014. He has previously held roles including brand manager, marketing manager and head of marketing for organisations spanning the business education and online services sectors and has over 15 years' experience in marketing.
David has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) since 2006 and a Chartered Marketer since 2009. In 2021 he became a Fellow of the CIM.
David is chair of the firm's CSR Committee, the firm having donated over £100,000 to local charities in recent years. He is also a parish councillor, mentor and judge for Young Enterprise, working with leading schools in the area, and a trustee and treasurer of a local charity.
David cco-runs the Reading Professional Services Marketing Group, with around 20 national and regional firms represented.
Outside of work, David runs an online community and writes for several publications, with an emphasis on sustainability and envrionmental issues.
