Gemma Kemp is an associate solicitor in our leading Family law team.
She advises clients on a broad range of matters, including divorce/separation/annulments, financial arrangements, children matters and issues between unmarried couples. Gemma also has experience in drafting agreements, including co-habitation and pre-nuptial agreements.
Further, Gemma advises those who are going through, or considering going through, the process of surrogacy, and provides advice and assistance to the surrogate and those wanting to become parents by using a surrogate. This includes advising on include international and domestic surrogacy, legal requirements throughout the process, how to become the ‘legal parent’ by obtaining Parental Orders and alternative options which might be available if a Parental Order cannot be obtained.
A committed member of Resolution, Gemma adopts a constructive and amicable approach where appropriate. She is open to all forms of process options to resolve matters in the most suitable way for her clients.
Gemma initially qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) in 2009 and continued her studies to qualify as a solicitor. She joined Blandy & Blandy LLP in 2016 and became an associate solicitor in 2018.
