Kelly Chandler is a senior associate in our leading Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts team and advises clients from our Reading, Henley-on-Thames and Wokingham offices, as well as remotely.

She specialises in the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), estate and inheritance tax planning, probate and estate administration and the administration and registration of trusts

Kelly is a full member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly Solicitors for the Elderly), an independent, national organisation of lawyers (solicitors, barristers and legal executives) who provide specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers, and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She is recommended in The Legal 500.

Kelly joined Blandy & Blandy in 2020, having previously worked at firms in Marlborough, Newbury and Reading. Kelly became an associate solicitor in 2023 and a senior associate solicitor in 2025.

She studied History at the University of Portsmouth and completed her GDL and LPC at BPP in London.

Acting for the Executors of a taxable Estate with assets in other jurisdictions.
Advising Executors on an Estate to restructure the Will using a Deed of Variation to minimise the family’s exposure to Inheritance Tax.
Advising on Wills to incorporate a suitable trust to provide for vulnerable beneficiaries.
