Megan Harris

Megan Harris is an associate in our award-winning Commercial Property & Planning team and  advises clients from our Reading, Henley-on-Thames and Wokingham offices, as well as remotely.

Megan joined Blandy & Blandy from a well-established firm in Reading, where she was a partner. She has over 12 years’ experience working in law firms, including seven as a qualified solicitor, and advises on all aspects of Commercial Property.

Blandy & Blandy has been named as a finalist in the ‘Property Law Firm of the Year’ category at the Thames Valley Property Awards four times (2017, 2018, 2023 and 2024), winning in 2017. The firm was also named ‘Property Law Firm of the Year’ at the 2023 Insider South East Property Awards, 'Best Law Firm' at the 2023 Royal Berkshire Property Awards and shortlisted again in 2024 for the same award.

• Advising and acting for several landlord clients in relation to commercial lettings of whole or parts of buildings.
• Dealing with the property elements of a purchase of part of a business including secured lending.
• Acting for a developer on the purchase of a £3.4m property for redevelopment.
• Acting for a developer in relation to the set up of template documents for sales of flats in a newly converted block of flats.
• Acting for a developer and lender in relation to a £1.3m loan to be secured over a mixed-use building.
• Advising a charity on the proposed restructuring of their lease arrangements at a community building including dealing with the grant of a new lease and new underleases to occupiers of parts of the building.
• Acting for a landowner granting an option to a developer for rights over land linked to a proposed residential development.
