Sarah Barrett is a senior solicitor in our Dispute Resolution team and advises clients from our Reading, Henley-on-Thames and Wokingham offices, as well as remotely.

She specialises in advising clients on disputed Wills, probate and Trusts claims, on behalf of private individuals and charities.

This includes challenges to Wills based upon lack of testamentary capacity, want of knowledge and approval and undue influence; applications under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975; proprietary estoppel claims; and actions to remove executors and trustees.

Sarah joined Blandy & Blandy in 2025, having been at her previous firm since 2014.

How I Can Help You

  • Will, probate & trust disputes.
  • Advising in relation to Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) 1975 Act claims, to include claims by the family (including partners and children of the deceased) and those who were financially dependent on the deceased.
  • Advising in relation to Will disputes. Including claims of invalidity, undue influence, capacity, knowledge and approval, and fraudulent calumny.
  • Advising in relation to disputes over the administration of estates and trusts including Executor duties, disclosure obligations and advising on Deeds of Variations.
