Sophie Bird is a solicitor in our Corporate & Commercial team and a member of our Charities & Education team. She advises clients from our Reading, Henley-on-Thames and Wokingham offices, as well as remotely. 

Sophie primarily advises charities, schools and other third sector organisations in relation to charity law and regulatory matters. She is also equipped to advise across sectors on a range of commercial issues. 

She also has a range of voluntary experience with charities and received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2020.

Sophie joined Blandy & Blandy in 2025, having previously worked at two regional firms in the Thames Valley and a charitable foundation in London.

She has a BA in Philosophy from the University of Kent and the GDL and an LLM from the University of Law.
