Blandy & Blandy Invites Training Contract Applications

Blandy & Blandy is currently accepting applications for training contracts to begin in September 2022, as well as in September 2023.

We attach a great deal of importance to recruiting trainee solicitors, who we view as an important investment in our firm's future. Wherever possible, we aim to retain and continue to develop those who have trained with us.

Many of our current partners and colleagues trained at Blandy & Blandy, including our joint managing partners Tim Clark and Jonathan Gater and our training partner, Debbie Brett.

Blandy & Blandy is recognised as a top tier firm in both Chambers UK Guide and The Legal 500. Over time, our successful approach has been recognised through a series of rankings, nominations and awards, including at the LawCareers.Net Training & Recruitment Awards, in the Lex 100 Survey and by Best Companies. Factors such as the quality of work undertaken and the level of client contact our trainees enjoy, alongside a welcoming and supportive culture, job satisfaction and good work/life balance have all been praised by our trainee solicitors,

Emma Ford, who recently qualified as a solicitor in our Corporate & Commercial team, having trained at the firm, said: “I was attracted to the breadth of expertise that the firm has to offer, which would provide me with a well-rounded and high quality training experience. As a trainee, I have had hands-on experience in a variety of departments, undertaking a growing level of responsibility whilst under the supervision of very supportive colleagues. As I reach the final stages of my training contract, I can look back on a very rewarding period of training with Blandy & Blandy and I feel fully prepared for the next stage of my career as a solicitor.”

For further information or to apply, please see our training contracts page.

To apply for September 2022, you will need to return your completed application by Tuesday 1 March 2022.

We are open to receiving applications for 2023, from those wishing to qualify via the SQE route (please indicate this on your form) as well as those who are seeking a training contract. The deadline to apply for September 2023 is 30 June 2022.
