Partner Luke McMath, in our Residential Property team, appeared on BBC Radio today, to discuss the Stamp Duty 'holiday' and changes announced by the Government.
Luke joined host Sarah Walker on BBC Radio Berkshire on 9 July 2020 to reflect on the announcement that had been made by Chancellor Rishi Sunak as part of his one off 'summer statement'.
He explained the new measures, which come into effect immediately, but cautioned that the result may be a spike in market activity that leaves the market quieter, perhaps than normal, in 2021.
