Blandy & Blandy has advised Bristol-based Crest Hotels Group on the acquisition of the Metropole Hotel & Spa in Llandrindod Wells, Wales, for an undisclosed figure.
The 109-bedroom hotel had been owned by the same family for five generations, having been purchased by Elizabeth Miles almost exactly 125 years ago. Until recently, the hotel had been run by siblings Justin Baird-Murray and Sarah Hill.
Crest Hotels Group currently owns seven hotels and employers more than 300 staff.
The company was advised by partner David Few and Emma Ford and Adam Chalker in our Corporate & Commercial team, and partner John Dingle, in the firm’s Commercial Property team.
