Colleagues and invited contacts joined Blandy & Blandy in Broad Street, Reading, on Tuesday 25 June for a 'Virtual Tour of Living with Dementia’.
The simulator experience is undertaken by over 200,000 people per year in the UK, including those working in the NHS and other emergency services, as well as across the care sector. Research has shown that completing the tour helps to improve knowledge and practice.
Discussing the experience, guests described it as "emotional", "highly valuable", "very, very informative" and "eye opening".
Colleagues in the firm's leading Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts team are trained 'Dementia Friends', an Alzheimer's Society initiative, and members of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers, formerly Solicitors for the Elderly.
