Blandy & Blandy’s leading Employment Law team welcomed over 70 attendees to its annual seminar held at Reading’s Green Park Conference Centre on 12 October.
Debbie Brett, a partner in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial team, gave an overview of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which comes into force in May 2018, and its implications for HR professionals and businesses.
Members of the firm's Employment Law team – partners Sue Dowling and Tim Clark, associate solicitor Laura Binnie and solicitor Andrea Corr – discussed topics including talent attraction and retention and restructuring a business, alongside providing an update on case law.
