Hattrick for Firm in Charity Event

Blandy & Blandy has won the Reading Pancake Race for the third time.

The firm's team, Laura Evans, Stuart Rose, Ed Giles and Jonathon Brown, joined a record 37 other teams to help raise over £6,000 for the Reading Launchpad charity. The money raised will go towards Launchpad's Life and Skills Centre, which will help its clients learn the tools they need to  break the cycle of homelessness.

Blandy & Blandy won the race for the third time in six years, having featured in every final during that time, and this year beat off strong competition from Nexus Planning, RSM UK and Reading FC, alongside a number of other law firms.

Awards were presented by BBC Radio Berkshire’s Michele Jordan, Reading FC Co-Chairman and former owner Sir John Madejski and Launchpad patron Search Results Web results Danyl Johnson.

The winners were featured on BBC Radio Berkshire, Heart Thames Valley and The Breeze and in Berkshire Live and The Reading Chronicle.
