Staff at Blandy & Blandy's Reading and Henley-on-Thames offices donned their festive jumpers on 14 December in aid of the firm’s two adopted charities, Age UK Berkshire and the League of Friends of the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Last week colleagues at the firm raised a further £475 at a staff charity event organised by the firm’s leading Family law team.
David Lamont, chair of the firm’s Charity Committee, said: “Well done and thank you to all of our staff for helping to raise a fantastic amount for local charities this year. In one night alone, our popular annual quiz night raised an excellent £5,000.
We have run, walked, rowed, baked cakes, dressed up, dressed down, held raffles and silent auctions, collected money, volunteered and more.”
Blandy & Blandy also continues to support a number of other causes and events, including Sue Ryder’s ‘Make a Will’ campaign, the ReadiFood food bank, the SWAT soup kitchen, the Reading Legal Walk (in aid of advice charities), Reading Pancake Race (in aid of Launchpad) and the recent Reading Santa Run (in aid of Reading Rotary Club).
