Successful applicants, normally second or final year law students or final year non-law students and postgraduates, are invited to complete a one week unpaid placement with us.
Working full-time, you will spend time supporting several departments. You may be given the opportunity to undertake research, draft letters and documents. Wherever possible we try to include opportunities to attend client meetings, court or tribunals.
You will work closely with a current trainee solicitor in each practice area, alongside other lawyers and members of the team.
Normal working hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Please note that we are unable to offer accommodation or to reimburse any travel costs.
Students who have, or expect to obtain, a minimum of a 2.1 (hons) degree are encouraged to apply. We will consider applications from second or final year law students and final year non-law students and postgraduates.
We would particularly like to receive applications from students who are looking to apply for a training contract with the firm in the future.
Applications should be made by submitting a covering letter and CV to hr@blandy.co.uk.
Candidates must be able to prove that they are eligible to work in the UK. Blandy & Blandy LLP is an equal opportunities employer.
