Work Experience

A work experience placement provides a unique opportunity to gain an insight into what it is like to work at Blandy & Blandy LLP. For those seriosuly considering a legal career, it also allows you to explore if you might like to apply for a training contact with us in the future.

We are currently accepting applications for our work experience programme until 31 January 2020. 

We would particularly like to receive applications from students who are looking to apply for a training contract with the firm in the future.

Students aged 16 - 17

Please note that unfortunately we cannot currently offer work experience to students younger than 18 years of age. We are reviewing our work experience offering for A Level and International Baccalaureate students.

Students aged 18 +

Successful applicants, normally second or final year law students or final year non-law students and postgraduates, are invited to complete a one week unpaid placement with us.

Working full-time, you will spend time supporting several departments. You may be given the opportunity to undertake research, draft letters and documents. Wherever possible we try to include opportunities to attend client meetings, court or tribunals.

You will work closely with a current trainee solicitor in each practice area, alongside other lawyers and members of the team.

Normal working hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Please note that we are unable to offer accommodation or to reimburse any travel costs.

Students who have, or expect to obtain, a minimum of a 2.1 (hons) degree are encouraged to apply. We will consider applications from second or final year law students and final year non-law students and postgraduates.

We would particularly like to receive applications from students who are looking to apply for a training contract with the firm in the future.
